Abe, it is good to hear that the burial flag case turned out well. True, the craftsman can always point out his mistakes.

I wrote to you in Nov. of last year, looking for plans on how to build a flag case. This was to be for my friend, a USMC SSgt. Well I followed your instructions and I have to tell you that I think it came out pretty good. My wife rates it a little higher but I know all the spots I sort of screwed up. My friend’s widow and son will be here on Saturday to pick it up and I’ve already inserted his flag. Thanks again.

Hi Todd,

I am sadden to hear of your family’s loss of your son. I don’t think we give first responders enough thanks for all of the hard work they do especially putting their lives at risk for the rest of us.

my son was and always will be a volunteer fire fighter in Snowdoun, AL he was killed in a car accident responding to a call of an accident in another territory he was burried with full honors and feel the need to build him a memorial flag case for the flag that that was given to his mother. i will let you know how it turns out thank you for having these plans to use.

I just recently made a flag case for my grandfather, representing his son that died. I am a beginner at wookworking, however my Brother-in-law just passed away. I’m going to make a display for his flag. I have lots of scrap lumber to waste.
I have made bird houses and other yard art. I have just about every tool one can buy. I would like to help. I will make this project. You can send me info on what you need.
